Report
Child safety
Last updated August 12, 2026
Porchkeep is for adults. Nobody under 18 may hold an account, and no image of anybody under 18 belongs here.
To report either, write to hello@plainspan.com with Child safety in the subject line. You do not need an account.
If a child is in immediate danger, call 911 first. Nothing on this page is faster than that.
What to put in the message
Enough for one person to find it without guessing. The account name, the screen you saw it on, and roughly when. A link if you have one.
Do not attach the image. A description finds it. Sending a picture of a child on to somebody else is its own harm, and the law treats it that way.
What happens to a report about a minor
An intimate image of anyone under 18 goes to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children through the CyberTipline. Federal law makes that a duty rather than a choice, and PlainSpan LLC cannot waive it on request, including at the request of the person who reported it.
Reported material is then held under 18 U.S.C. section 2258A(h), which treats a completed CyberTipline report as a request to preserve what was reported for one year. Held material is not visible to anybody using the service, and a law-enforcement request can end the hold earlier.
An account believed to belong to somebody under 18 is locked rather than asked to confirm and carry on.
Report to NCMEC directly as well
These are free, they are run by other organisations, and they reach many services at once. Neither needs you to send an image anywhere.
- The CyberTipline, for a report about a child. This is the same route a report here takes.
- Take It Down, run by NCMEC, for an image of somebody who was under 18 when it was taken.
What this address is
It reaches the person who makes Porchkeep. There is no desk behind it and no ticket number comes back. No turnaround is promised here, because a promise like that needs somebody to keep it.
An intimate image of an adult has its own page, at the takedown page, where the deadline is set by federal law.
Where this stands today
Porchkeep is not open. There is no public build, no account exists, and nothing has been posted by anybody. The address works now, which is the reason for publishing it before any of that changes.
Published by PlainSpan LLC. It has not been reviewed by counsel. That review is pending and this page changes if the review changes it.
